Plus, the Gladiator can be configured to have half doors to access the back seats instead of full doors for a unique look. Both vehicles are available with various special appearance packages, but the Wrangler offers more options with up to five pre-set design choices, whereas the Gladiator has two.

Both vehicles are offered with two engine options. The Wrangler can be powered by either a 2.0-litre turbo engine with 270 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque or a 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 that delivers 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. No matter which engine you choose, the Wrangler can tow up to 2,000 pounds.
The Jeep Gladiator is offered with the same 3.6-litre Pentastar V6. However, the other engine option for the Gladiator is a 3.0-litre EcoDiesel V6 engine that produces 260 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque for enhanced fuel economy. The Gladiator can tow up to 7,700 pounds when properly equipped. Plus, the Gladiator boasts a best-in-class 4x4 payload with up to 1,710 pounds.
